About the role

About the role
The Programme Coordinator will primarily be responsible for supporting Money Heroes, our largest primary programme designed to develop the financial capability of children across England and Wales. Money Heroes provides resources, training and mentoring for primary schools, as well as storybooks, games and other materials to supplement learning about money at school and in the home.
The Programme Coordinator will work closely with the Programme Manager and the Money Heroes team to ensure the smooth running of the programme, including coordinating content development and website updates, supporting the delivery of teacher training events, supporting the marketing and promotion of the programme, and supporting ongoing monitoring and evaluation. The role also works more broadly across the whole of the Programmes and Services team to ensure joined up cohesive support is offered internally and externally to staff, teachers and other educators.
The post holder will be responsible for providing high level customer service both internally and externally to a variety of people including teachers and other educators and YE staff. This role will also provide ongoing support to ensure we are effectively communicating the aims and objectives of our programmes to external stakeholders through newsletters, social media and email campaigns.

About the role
This is an exciting time to join Young Enterprise as we prepare to launch our Transforming Futures strategy (2024-2030).
The Marketing Executive will play a key role in helping the marketing team with two business transformation projects which are closely aligned with our Strategy: rebranding the charity and launching a new website.
We are looking for an enthusiastic person, with experience of digital marketing and branding, who can work autonomously.
The role will lead on elements of the production of marketing and communication materials in the new brand. The job holder will need to evidence excellent project management skills as they be helping to manage the process of creating and approving a large number of marketing materials. They will also prepare marketing templates for use across the charity, providing advice to colleagues on branding and content.
The Marketing Executive will work closely with our Digital Engagement Manager to liaise with teams across the charity to prepare content and visual assets for the new website.
The job holder will be involved in all other aspects of communications, such as contributing to creating content for social media, helping to prepare and deliver integrated campaign activity, creating basic designs for social assets and helping our internal teams shape and activate marketing briefs.
The job holder will need to quickly develop relationships with stakeholders across the charity, and be able to manage deliverables and support colleagues through the transformation projects.
Occasional travel will be required to England/Wales to attend YE events, e.g. to capture content for social media.

Freelance Education Consultant opportunities – Financial and Enterprise Education

Young Enterprise is the UK’s leading enterprise and financial education charity, supporting schools, teachers and young people to develop the enterprising mindset they need to learn to earn and manage their money.
We are looking to expand our team of self-employed freelance specialist education consultants to support our range of programmes and services across England and Wales. Specifically those able to work in the following locations: the North East, Yorkshire, Mid / South Wales, the West Midlands and North of London (Herts / Cambs / Beds)
We are seeking individuals with direct experience of working in the education sector in England and Wales, with a very good understanding of the issues affecting change and of how to influence what is taught in schools. A background in teaching and/or senior leadership is essential.
A successful track record in developing teaching materials, and delivering and evaluating training (including face to face and virtual delivery), providing advice and consultancy to teachers in an educational context is essential; knowledge and/or experience of financial and/or enterprise education is required.
Consultants are expected to complete all paperwork and records as required by the organisation and to monitor, evaluate and track progress in line with contracted requirements. Consultants will also be asked to provide evidence of their self-employed status, and adequate insurance levels (public liability and professional indemnity insurance).
The programmes supported by YE’s education consultants include our flagship Centres of Excellence programme providing a whole school improvement framework – a set of national professional standards through which excellence in financial and enterprise education is achievable and exemplary. Education consultants may be contracted to work with Centres to create engaging and inspiring learning programmes, as well as offering comprehensive staff development and training.
We also have a dedicated Resource Development Service through which consultants can be contracted to author classroom activities, lesson plans and teaching materials for primary and secondary schools. Education consultants would be expected to create materials which are of the highest educational value, contain accurate and up-to-date information, and are engaging and relevant for the young people they are aimed at. We appreciate the strengths of each consultant, so where possible will match you to authoring that matches your areas of expertise.
As funding allows, Education Consultants can also be contracted to deliver CPD training to teachers and other educators and to provide training (both virtually and in person) to those who support vulnerable young people in non-mainstream education settings. This could involve supporting our Money Heroes programme, which delivers financial education to primary schools, through CPD teacher training and ongoing mentoring opportunities.
Across all programmes, delivery and training can involve a mix of in-person and online/virtual training and mentoring, so we are looking for experience and capability delivering via both methods.
These positions will be available on a self-employed, contracted basis as required and are home-based with some travel to schools required. Fees range from £225 for training delivery, £300 per 8 hour day for resource authoring, to £400 per 8 hour day for in depth consultancy support e.g. Centres of Excellence. Rates are inclusive of any applicable VAT.
