Kings Trust Northern Ireland

The King’s Trust supports 11- to 30-year-olds who are unemployed or struggling at school to get their lives on track. Working across Northern Ireland we support over 8,500 young people each year to develop the confidence and skills they need to live, learn and earn. Their community-based teams work closely with hundreds of delivery partners to provide a variety of support and free courses to help young people develop the life-skills and motivation they need to succeed. Whether you’re interested in improving your employability skills, landing a new job or you want to start your own business, there’s something for everyone.

Opportunity Guarantee

The ‘Opportunity Guarantee’ Work Experience Programme offers short work experience placements with local employers for people aged 16-65 years.

You can learn more about specific industries and job roles to help you make more informed choices about your future.  They can also help improve your confidence and motivation.

Placements can last between two and eight weeks and will give you the chance to try out various tasks in a real work situation and develop skills needed to help you get a job.
