Fiver Challenge Awards 2019: The Highlights

Fiver Challenge is Young Enterprise’s nationwide challenge for young people aged 5-11. The programme takes place during the month of June and this year over 38,000 budding entrepreneurs were pledged £5 to start their business ideas.

Fiver links classroom learning to the outside world, inspiring children to actively learn, develop and grow. It’s a great opportunity for all abilities to explore key skills including teamwork, managing money and problem-solving skills.

10 winning teams and individuals from across the country were invited to the 2019 Awards Ceremony hosted by KidZania in London and presented by David Ribi, Channel 5 Milkshake presenter.

Awards included categories of Best Team, Best for Sustainability and Most Inspiring Individual. The Awards kicked off with a performance from BAC Beatbox Academy and a speech from Ella Meek, founder of Kids Against Plastic.
