Financial education is a planned programme of study that equips young people with the knowledge, skills and confidence to manage their money well. It ensures learners grow to understand their attitude to risk, and become aware of their own behaviour and emotions when making financial decisions through real-life scenarios.
We believe that the most sustainable approach to financial education is to support those directly involved in educating young people. Whilst a significant proportion of our work focuses on supporting schools and teachers, we recognise that parents and carers and local communities also play an important role and provide a wealth of support for anyone working with children and young people.
